Liz has been a woodworker since childhood, but in 2020 she officially took over her father's woodshop. Liz Clausen Design specializes in custom-built cabinetry that’s often a bit outside the box, e.g., reclaimed redwood vanities, mustard yellow islands, wormy chestnut niches, etc. However, the classic white shaker isn’t frowned upon. It’s often Liz’s goal to combine that classic base with an imaginative twist.

In the Summer of 2022, along with a few other talented makers, Liz will be offering woodworking classes at her Novato-based workshop. Check out Mixtape-Makers on Instagram for more info.
